Charlie Copeland
I've been where you are.
As the former CEO of a multi-generational family business, I've navigated the decisions that keep owners up at night—growth, succession, market shifts, people. I've also led inside a Fortune 10 company, served on boards overseeing more than $1 billion in assets, and spent six years as a Delaware State Senator and Senate Minority Leader.
That range of experience—private enterprise, corporate, nonprofit governance, public service—shapes how I work with leaders today. I don't bring a single playbook. I bring pattern recognition across sectors and a willingness to ask the question you haven't asked yourself yet.
Today I chair two Vistage peer advisory groups in the Delaware and Philadelphia region. My role is part coach, part facilitator, part strategic sounding board. I run confidential monthly meetings where CEOs and key executives tackle their most pressing issues together, and I meet one-on-one with each member to go deeper on individual challenges.
I believe leadership development isn't a seminar—it's an ongoing discipline. The best leaders I work with aren't looking for answers. They're looking for better questions.
