About Me
I’m Charlie Copeland, a lifelong leader dedicated to helping CEOs grow their businesses, sharpen their decision-making, and lead with greater clarity. My journey has taken me through the private, public, and nonprofit sectors—from running a multigenerational family business to serving in executive roles at a Fortune 10 company, and later as a Delaware State Senator and Senate Minority Leader.
Today, I guide CEOs and business owners in the Delaware and Philadelphia region through confidential peer advisory groups that challenge conventional thinking and foster accountability. My approach is grounded in real-world experience, a collaborative spirit, and a belief that leadership is as much about listening as it is about action.
Beyond my advisory work, I serve on the boards of several major local foundations, overseeing more than $1 billion in combined assets. These roles keep me connected to the region’s most pressing opportunities—and the leaders driving meaningful impact.
If you’re navigating change, seeking clarity, or simply ready to grow, I’m here to help you ask better questions and find stronger answers.

My Approach

My consulting approach is grounded in real-world leadership experience and strengthened through my partnership with Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization. This collaboration gives me access to world-class tools, research, and a global network of over 45,000 business leaders—resources I leverage to bring unmatched clarity, accountability, and growth opportunities to my clients.
I work with CEOs and business owners who want to break through complexity, make better decisions, and lead with greater purpose. Through confidential peer advisory groups and one-on-one guidance, I help leaders uncover blind spots, challenge assumptions, and sharpen their focus. This isn’t traditional consulting—it’s structured, high-impact collaboration rooted in trust, experience, and results.
With Vistage’s proven model and my diverse background in business, public service, and governance, I offer more than advice—I provide a strategic sounding board to help leaders grow their business and themselves.
